"That work was done by a psychologist at Yale University who had the delicious name of Otto Leif Tinklepaugh."

Does "delicious" here mean "interesting"?
If so, why is the name interesting? I don't know the meaning behind the name.
Could anyone tell me?

I think they mean it's 'delightful'.
It's whimsical and has personality and flavor.
It pleases the senses- so it's 'delicious.'
