@Lustig Andrei,

Lustig Andrei wrote:The reason for the quite involuntary ad hominem attacks I launch against you
are because I utterly despise all that you stand for.
In other words: u don 't have the strength of
character
to
control your own emotions and to present yourself in society as a
gentleman.
U have chosen to subordinate reason to
public hysteria.
Lustig Andrei wrote:You, sir, who claims to hate Comminsm are a exactly on a par with the Stalinists

I have enslaved and have murdered distinctly
fewer people than thay have.
I think that u have shown
disloyalty of spirit
and
disloyalty of philosophy to the fugitives in your family. Have thay
disowned u ?
Lustig Andrei wrote: I read your posts and my blood comes to a boiling point.
Woud u be
HAPPIER, if u went back to communism?? Maybe Cuba?
Lustig Andrei wrote:I read your posts and I see the hateful propaganda that people like Vishinsky spread about.
Well, I
have hated the
commies and the nazis,
but I propagate
the truth, so far as I understand it.
Lustig Andrei wrote:"The end justifies the means." That seems to be your motto
Yes; sometimes it has been,
e.g., when we nuked the Japs to obviate an infantry invasion.
Lustig Andrei wrote:just as it has been the motto of every Communist regime in history. You defend (nay, you embrace) scum like Pinochet because he murdered people for no other reason than that their political philosophies differed with those which you hold so dear.
He attacked n removed supporters of the
commies; he had the wisdom to know his enemy
and to be
PRACTICAL in fighting his anti-communist war.
KUDOS to him for that!!!!!
General Pinochet's history was wonderful and splendid, eliciting my
loving gratitude.
As I think back upon his career, I feel somewhat guilty,
negligent in my having failed
to write him a fan letter, encouraging him and maybe to send him some symbolic
cash
possibily a few
$1OOO, that he might have used as
rewards for his better troops,
or to consume for his own delight ( tho surely he 'd have little need of my modest contribution ).
I
wish that I had done that, but alas, I did not have the presence of mind to do it, at the time.
If I coud correct my mistakes that woud be among them.
Lustig Andrei wrote:That is exactly what Stalin did in the show trials of the 1930s. You defend anyone who spouts your line of political nonsense,
Did your family believe that
anti-communism was nonsense? Probably not.
Lustig Andrei wrote:your propaganda of "free enterprise."
I propagate free enterprize as well as I can, within my humble means. Yes.
Lustig Andrei wrote:You, sir, are a deluded, despicable cad of the first order.
Be that as it may:
even cads can be truthful and can love personal freedom.
U seem to take
a lot of interest in
ME, as a person, as distinct from the topic.
Lustig Andrei wrote:The tragedy is that you probably mean well and don't see the glaring contradictions in your militant stance.
If I saw a contradiction in my stance, I woud address it.
Lustig Andrei wrote:But in my view that does not excuse the vile, hateful horseshit that you continue to espouse.
I guess its good for me
that I need not concern myself with
your vu,
particularly since u have not impressed me with your ability to reason,
or even with your
WILLINGNESS to try it, preferring
hysterical, personal vituperation.
U see, Andy, the idea is to discuss the subject matter of each thread,
not to analyse the merits and shortcomings of the posters with whom u converse.
Lustig Andrei wrote:If you post an answer to this, you will certainly get the last word (which you seem to value)
As I have told u before: most of the time,
I am willing to address the issues that other posters have raised.
Lustig Andrei wrote:inasmuch as I have no intention of ever conducting another conversation with you.
I 've heard
THAT one before.
