Inasmuch as I'm right-handed, I never tried to do the Vulcan salute southpaw style. Tried to just now. Can't seem to get it right. Right hand was never a problem. Like you, Roberta, I never realized that some people can'T.

But here's a weird thing, being as how I'm a rightie -- I can't snap my fingers with my right hand. Put thumb and forefinger together and -- pffft, nuthin'. With the left hand, put those two digits together and -- SNAP!

@Lustig Andrei,
Just checked, Andy. I'm an ambidextrous snapper.

@Roberta,
Re: that Vulcan salute. When I try to do it with my left hand, my pinkie insists on being independent of all other digits.

@Lustig Andrei,
No effort with either hand. Why? Dunno.

I can curl up the left side of my top lip in a perfect sneer. The right side won't curl.

Funny, same with my sneer -- left side only. I can do the vulcan sign and snap with both hands. I don't have funky eyebrows or eyeballs. I can whistle any tune and I can roll my tongue.

@Ceili,
My eyeballs don't do anything special. I can whistle and roll my tongue too. I was having a test on my throat. I was asked to whistle. For some reason I started whistling The Battle Hymn of the Republic. One of the doctors started singing along.

@roger,
Me too, Roger.

As I remember, she got interested in other things, which of course I understand. I stayed at their house a couple of times, going through Seattle on my way to other places. Liked her husband, dogs, and horse too.

@Ceili,
Oh, I envy your ability to whistle.

Back on Ocean Front Walk in Venice in our early days there, there used to be a guy who would walk the mileage while whistling classical music. Knocked me out to hear it then, and, now, I'd probably follow him, like the Pied Piper. I'm guessing he was a music major at one of our universities, or visiting prof.

@Roberta,
Quote:
When my mother visited my high school on parents' night, she spoke with my English teacher who said that she knows when I know an answer. I don't have to raise my hand. My left eyebrow goes up. After my mother told me about this, I spent the rest of the term with my hand on my forehead to keep my eyebrows from moving around.

Haha! Laughing

Wow you can do a ton of stuff! I cant do the Vulcan salute with either hand very well. I can't wiggle my ears.

@ossobuco,
I have a rather odd way of whistling, my father whistled a lot and I couldn't quite managed to whistle blowing out, when young, but I could whistle while drawing in. Consequently, I whistle much better drawing than out.
