My mother has a high pulse rate suddenly within last three weeks that is erratic which does not always happen with high blood pressure. Generally the blood pressure is low to normal when this happens and now she is having gas(belching also) with the fast pulse. Can anyone help with this issue?

The doctor will probably want to know if there have been significant recent dietary changes.

Best thing rather than speculate is to get her to go to her doc. There are many reasons this can happen and he needs to examine her pronto. Hope this helps
