@JLNobody,
All pain may end for you but what about loved ones pain for someone else is worse than pain for thy self

Every time I think about this question, I'd nag the fact why I was born in the world at first place. If I was not there, I will feel no pain, you know it's heartbreaking to farewell to our loved one.

The conservation of energy: A principle stating that energy cannot be created or destroyed, but can be altered from one form to another.

If this applies to mind then what ever bad habits we pick up in this life we take on to the next and suffer for it, and then the next… Maybe we’d better hope that the conservation of energy doesn’t apply to mind as well as body unless we develop a deeper view of reality which will act as a positive springboard for the next life.

We seem to believe in nonexistence even though there is no evidence for it. Reincarnation is maybe not believing in nonexistence and mind being a form of energy is conserved; changed but conserved... Just a thought not a defence of a belief.

@didxga,
Thinking of the loss of my loved causes me in pain in my life, not my death. And isn't the latter is what we are talking about?

I recently went to the memorial of a beloved deceased friend. His many friends celebrated the fact that while we were all suffering the loss of our friend, we celebrated the belief that he was far beyond all suffering, including the pain of loss.

@Rockhead,
Punky would love to have Stinky for a squeaky toy.

Excuses are not necessary to an old geezer like myself.

@edgarblythe,
My remark about Stinky was of course a joke. Punky already has a squeaky toy.

@hamilton,
Once I viewed death from about 10 feet up in the air. That's a night I'd like to forget.
