@Ticomaya,
You will, of course, remember when I tossed famously good players when I first started with fantasy football and baseball. That's my way!
I think you were fairly kind, given the circumstances, and what I figure was your hilarity.

The name Greg Olsen is familiar. Merlin, I think. Not the same.

I think it's appropriate that the Tough Puppies have a dude named Collie on the roster.

@ossobuco,
Here are the league managers and week one matchups...

And here are the draft results by round...

I passed on RB Chris Johnson for WR Andre Johnson in the first. Probably not a great. It was fun though (I found the chat window Embarrassed).

I believe Chris Johnson is still holding out.

@George,
Yeah. That and the fact that I didn't want three garbage recievers this year helped with that decision. Plus I hate the TEN.

This is Staffords year,..who ended up getting him in the draft?

Tap dancing.

And.

The s e c o n d a r y defense I was awarded in the draft will be the leagues leading defense,..D e t r o i t L i o n s.

Do we need to play out this fantasy season. Trophy tour already scheduled.

@alex240101,
Yes Alex ... I commented during the draft when you selected Ryan Williams, who is out for the year after rupturing the patellar tendon in his right knee on Friday, but then quickly realized that you had picked Stafford in the first round, and really didn't need any other players on your roster in order to win.

Fun draft.
Nice chat.

Except that in the middle of it, I received a call from my national news editor, asking for advice, and 14 hours later I'm still musing about if it was right. I was too caught up with having a competitive team, the important thing at the moment was to select correctly.

@thack45,
Oh, man, thanks, fun to read. First off, the Toughie Pups are gonna play the Zombie Woofs.. what a match made in Dogpatch! Watch the turds fly!

I recognize something like 92% of the players names, not that I could describe their present competences, or lack of them. Interesting to see who got picked early.

I'm watching the 49'ers with my beady eyes, slightly less forlorn as a group today than a few days ago, and am hoping for progression from Colin Kaepernick, currently vying, at least in his own mind, to be the second or first QB. He's a smart one with an arm, but, yanno, a mere toddler in the nfl.

I still cant believe that I was able to get the two argueably best kickers in the NFL.
I will have to see what I need and maybe trade one of them.

Well, obviously, that depends who you ask. The Yahoo experts give Kaeding a composite ranking of #2 (with a range from #2 to #7), and Vinatieri composite of #17 (range from #13 to #19).

My kicker's (Akers) not ranked highly (#20), but if you look at his "projected" fantasy points for the year at the yahoo site, he's projected to score only 7 fantasy points behind Kaeding, the #2 kicker. Go figure.

@George,
George, yes yes yes. Paper shredder on over time for parade rain.
Such a buzz here in Michigan.
It has been a long time since hope, faith, statistics have been in the Lions favor.
How did this day find you?

Just a reminder, there's a game Thursday night: Saints vs Packers. I don't have anyone, but half of Cycloteam's roster will be taking the field ... unless he wises up and benches them all.

Yah, I'll get right on that. Seeing as the Saints defense is so good and all.
