Incidentally, that is a suitable proof text to use instead of the account of Onan. I repeat (but will you listen?), Onan was not masturbating. Did he derive any pleasure out of ejecting his semen on the ground? No, of course not. He pulled out of Tamar to exercise birth control. Sexual pleasure is derived from masturbation (or intercourse, of course); sexual pleasure is not derived from practicing birth control.

The Word says it is good when a man finds a wife:

IT IS WRITTEN:

Proverbs 18:22 -
He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD.

God will reveal to you WHO you wife is going to be.

I am NOT READY for marriage - I have MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THINGS I have to deal with first before I even consider marriage.

Marriage is a HUGE RESPONSIBILITY.

People shouldn't get married until they are mature enough to handle the responsibility and be serious about it.

I don't need to be looking at something and get myself stirred up. I stay away from pornographic material or anything fringing on that - I know that is UNCLEAN and SINFUL and I have no desire to look at it. As a man of God, why would I want to entertain that?

ROMANS 1:18-32 notes 'dishonourable passions.'

Can you tell me why you put so much faith in the document produced by the Council of Nicaea? This was primarily to keep Constantine in power, and establish a state religion. Why do you think gospels written by Matthew Mark Luke and John, that essentially relied on third and fourth hand information, were included, but the Gospel according to Thomas, who was actually there, was left out? There's also the bureaucratic, and quite frankly weird Leviticus, that even you have problems with. Instead of just swallowing what you're told by your bishop why don't you try thinking for yourself?

It is also written, "be not unequally yoked." Christians are not suposed to marry non-Christians. That is ASKING for trouble.
