I read a product label today on some "organic" baby food. It's advertised as sugar free.

But one of the ingredients is "evaporated cane juice."

Are people really that dumb?

@DrewDad,
They seem to define "Sugar" as only that which contains sucrose. Maltose, levulose, and fructose dont count.

I also like the term "fat free" when the label itself reads the fat content is anything but zero.

The one that really pisses me off is the fruitjuices that , on the label sound like pure juice but when looking at the bottom of the label it usually says
"Contains up to 10% real fruit juice" WHAAAAAAAAA??

@farmerman,
I don't know if PAM is still on the market, but it was listed as "fat free". Anything below a certain weight of fat per serving can be indicated to be fat free. The amount per serving, that is the amount required to coat one frying pan, was below that limit. Notice that PAM is 100% fat.
