What I don't understand is this site claims to have 100,000 + members, yet I've never seen more than 3000 logged on and in truth it seems limited to no more than a couple of 100 regular posters. Odd to say the least.
I also note you can not cancel your account like you can with Twitter and Facebook, so is this how they claim the 100,000 + members. Once you join you're on the books forever, even if you don't post for years or die even.
I've cancelled accounts with both Twitter and Facebook with no problem, easy to do, why wont A2K let you cancel your account?.
Strange and a bit disingenuous, me thinks.

facebook may cancel your account, but it keeps every bit of your information on standby, in case you come back. What else they may need the banks of information for is something I don't know about.

All these sites seem to hold on to your details which is disconcerting.
But at least when you cancel your account they cant falsely claim you
as an active member, if you get my drift.
IE, do you see any evidence of 100,000 members on A2K?, I don't.
This is the point I believe the guy who started the thread was getting
at, although I might be wrong on that.

Many members are likely bots for spammers.
