Yesterday on my bike ride a bunny was in the middle of the trail and usually they scatter away from we human animals, but this guy stood right there and looked at me as if to say "Yeah? Or what buddy?" With that attitude, I immediately thought of you.

Sounds like Cousin Algernon.
If you see him again say hi from me.
@dlowan,
I read this the other day:
Quote:The Royal Shakespeare Company's Dead Bunny Scene Proves Too Racy For New York Production
Fervent bunny lovers got their wish when the Royal Shakespeare Company announced that there would no longer be a dead rabbit skinned and beheaded onstage in a scene from the Shakespeare play "As You Like It," which is currently showing at the Park Avenue Armory in New York as part of the Lincoln Center Festival.

Instinctively thought of ... er... nevermind.
Forget I mentioned it.
@tsarstepan,
You had to make it about death, didn't you.
Now I keep seeing dead rabbits.
@dlowan,
This rabbit is not dead! It's merely pinin' for the fjords!
@jespah,
Of course the rabbit is not dead. The display of dead rabbits is no more.

Where was the spoiler alert? You spoiled the major plot twist! ((sigh))
@blueveinedthrobber,
I cant stand the suspense... what happened to the bunny ? There are Easter Eggs ramifications here...
@Ionus,
I rode around him.... you were thinking I'd get in a fight with one of Ms. Buns relatives? I'm no pussy but I'm not stupid.
@Old Goat,
Was the rabbit named Strawberry?

Perhaps you should change locations, then.
