Amen McTag -
sure we're all friends here, like Dutchy said. But there is little point in this thread (billed as a word game) if no-one adheres to the rules. Sure we can all be chums and write whatever we like, all free and sunshine and smiles, but then why bother? The fun of the "word game" is to come up with a valid, measured response. If we don't we may as well just write prose.
@iamsam82,
to split myself.
Aimless tiffs will never cease,
here's the curly tail.
@Dutchy,
Here's the curly tail;
Aye, here's Fate's flaxen tresses.
Pull them, and own her.
Pull them, and her own
down to the swirling sea
Not to see her drown
(better??)
@sullyfish6,
Your middle line has 6!!! But I guess I'm being picky now - thanks!
@sullyfish6,
Not to see her drown.
The air resound its lament,
shrills of her sorrow.
@Dutchy,
Shrills of her sorrow,
Wails of her woe in turquoise
And in verdigris.
and in verdigris
now appear all the copper
fittings to the pipes
fittings to the pipes
what the hell does that mean, eh?
sure sounds like plumbing.
@Mame,
Sure sound like plumbing.
Boil them soft still wearing skins,
spuds like that for me.
Spuds like that for me:
scallopp'd in thin slices like
those by Paul Bocuse
@Mame,
Prob'ly just a man.
A specie you can't do sans,
try to deny it!
Oh, you don't know me
or do you? Aren't you the one
who cooks up a storm?
@Mame,
Oh, you don't know me!
Good friends are kind and caring,
the fun friends are nice.
Extremely kind
Helping all with their puzzles
A true gent, indeed.
@Mame,
A true gent indeed,
Dutchy yields the wordy crown
to Mame, puzzle queen.
