Neverending Haiku chain: Part 2

Due to some jackassery, the previous haiku chain thread was closed. I'm going to make an executive decision to soft reboot the thread but with a condition/caveat. If a reply has been thumbed down at least three times - due to a personal attack on another poster, the next poster can simply ignore that person's last line of their haiku and start fresh with a new haiku whereas the next poster will take the last line. And so on.

Here's how it goes ... the first line of the next person's haiku must be the same as the last line of the previous person's haiku. (My definition of haiku being just the 5-7-5 thing, not the complicated Japanese naturey thing.)

Two in the morning
I post on able2know
a new haiku thread.

@tsarstepan,
That's quite clever. Kinda sonnety. But it should have a 5-8-5, 4-3-2 or 6-6-6 base. Any variation that adds up-to a multiple of 9.

I'll join in with a 5-6-7.

A New Haiku Thread
Will be less likely dead
If based on Natures' design

If 'Natures' is counted as 1, then 'If based upon Natures' design' should compensate.
Have a lovely day

And the dog days end
The third week in September;
Halloween looms large.

@The Anointed,
They're the best in town
Or so the people all say
I'll go there some day.

@The Anointed,
They're the best in town?
One must assume that they're the
only game in town.

[My bad. I copied the first not the last line. But I'll keep the haiku up cause I like it.]
Here's my real reply to the previous haiku.

I'll go there someday.
Some call it Purgatory.
I call it Newark.

I call it Newark
It's a town in O-hi-o
To where I wont go.

@The Anointed,
To where I won't go.
I leave that option to you.
How will you stop me?

@tsarstepan,
Cooked sunny side up,
The eggs lie on a white plate
beside a halved orange.

@n0tarobot,
Beside a halved orange, has six syllables.

Cooked sunny side up
The yellow yoke split and ran
All over the plate.

@The Anointed,
Oops. Sorry.

All over the plate
Excited ants dashed around
Gathering the crumbs.

@n0tarobot,
Don't worry mate, we all do it, and I hope that you correct me if ever I do it again.

Gathering the crumbs
From the tables of the rich
I at least survive.
