My experience bears me out, but others may differ. There is a lot of history for sure.

Blacks and white marry each other. Sometimes the marriage works well. Other times, the marriage is on the rocks. Blacks and whites also work together. Sometimes this relationship is solid and strong. Other times, not so strong.

The same can be said about any combination of races. Whites marry white people. Sometimes the marriage works well. Other times, the marriage is on the rocks. Etc....

Persons of Asian persuasion work with Hispanics. Etc....

Racism, cynicism, and opportunism still exist at a group and individual levels. That said, because these negative forces still exist doesn't make the existence of genuine honesty impossible for individual relationships.

I was formulating something like that - it's about the individuals, in all your examples. There can be a lot in the way.

I think that people need to learn to communicate in an honest and effective way. I believe that if this does not happen, then change will never come.

This isn't just re race, and I suppose it is well worked out in countless communication books. It can start with hostility.

the only time that it would not work is when one or the other still sees race as a deciding factor to someones personality above anything else. Essentially a racist.. and that can be on either side of the color spectrum.
