@anandha rajagopal,
People are unlikely to wish to edit an essay--it would be too much work. People here do respond well, however, to specific questions. One of the most common ways that people who are learning English as a second language use this site is for explanations of things they have read. The members here will genuinely try to help someone understand any English usage which is obscure or opaque to the learner. If you choose to do that, it will be necessary to provide the context in which you read something--either by providing several sentences of text preceding the portion about which you have a question, or providing a link to the online page where you read it, if that is the case.

If you just wrote two or three sentences, rather than an essay, people would probably try to help you.

@anandha rajagopal,
I really can't say. As i am a native speaker of English, i don't spend any time looking for sites where one would learn English. I suggest that you do a search with the criterion: "English as a second language."

Yes, plenty.

The BBC website is quite helpful, and there are also some dedicated ones.

Oxford University, Trinity College. I'll check, and come back on this point.
