Who knows Jesus could have been a caring person and they put him to death because he did not share their views but we will never know when people lie as they do.

Here is the Treaty of Tripoli header/foreword sign off by the US Senate at a time where there was still founding fathers siting in that body and the President was John Adams also a founding father.

It is sad when people can not be trusted and when you have religious people that are not honest that should make you question how honest the writers of the bible were and religious leaders.

Some religious people are very honest but they are the sheep that have been led astray believing that the bible is the absolute word of God and blinded to its faults and only seeing the good that it has in it.

These are the people that do not question their own belief.

The Bible is primarily a political document designed to entrench the Emperor Constantine in power, and guarantee the influence of Rome long after the fall of the empire. What is as important as what went into the Bible is what was left out. Gospels by Timothy, Thomas Mary Magdalen (perhaps pronounced Maudlin). Unlike Matthew Mark and Luke these some of these gospels were written by people who were there, as opposed to someone who knew a guy whose best friend's grandfather used to work with a bloke that had been to the sermon on the mount.

There is zero indication that any of the religion writings in or out of the bible was created by people living at the time of the so call events of "Jesus" life.

There is a bit of a debate about whether or not John was there, I remain agnostic on the issue. Most of the New Testament is down to Paul.

If there were indication would this make the bible any more convincing? If the bible was close to being completely true that would be another thing. I do think that there is some truth in it but it is very hard to distinguish.

I can find value in the bible but I can also see the animals [mean spirited evil people] that we are in it as well.

Thank that we are bad now? "one just needs to read the bible as if it were a true book and use the moral judgement of today and you can see that God was a psychopath and if you cant then you have been blinded or you are a psychopath as well at least this is the way I see it.

This is not meant to be mean because my mother is a believer but I do think that there is something wrong with her thinking. Do not get me wrong she is a kind person just blinded by the lies of society!
