Gracious! We are all done picking Week #5 with 24 hours to spare. 13 games x 22 players = 286 picks and in 77% of those we are in agreement.
We are unanimous in picking Green Bay over Atlanta and San Diego versus Denver. Andy alone picks the NY Jets against New England. He admits he is trying to pick up a game on the leaders here. We are 20-2 in favor of New Orleans at Carolina.
We are evenly split on Arizona @ Minnesota and we come out 13-9 liking Buffalo to beat Philadelphia.
Panzade is in total agreement with the majority on 12 games and has Minn in the tossup.
JPB and Osso are right behind; differing with the majority on just 1 game.
Jespah is at the other end, seeing differently than most of the rest of us on 7 contests.

@realjohnboy,
I'm soft re the Carolina game - rooting for them.

Well, hey.

And re this week, Jespah may be right. I had qualms posting my picks.

@realjohnboy,
After the event of the recent passing of Al Davis, I will resist...I will not change my pick from Raiders to Houston. This is my marker that I considered it.

The fact is that the Raider Defense is near to last in the league and they are playing in Reliant Field in Houston prevents my considering making the switch. Even though Houston is w/o the service of their star receiver, Andre Johnson, which is a lot to expect the team to replace all that production.

Nope I'll resist the urge. Though, I'm saying this...I would not be shocked at all IF it happens. Were I a betting man, I'd go against the odds and stack up some money on the Raiders to win, which could make someone a small killing.

However in view of where I am in this contest, my picks are risky ENOUGH this week.

This Titans-Steelers game is giving me fits, but I'm standing fast on it.

@Ragman,
of course...an error: I meant the opposite - about changing my pick from Houston to Raiders. Not going to do it.

@Ragman,
I did panic for a second, but I figured out what you meant to say.
Oakland's Jason Campbell is my (mediocre) QB in Fantasy Football. Perhaps he will capture the spirit of Al Davis: pass often and pass deep.

@realjohnboy,
Sorry about that confusion. In my elder years sometimes I have to check a few times what I type.

@realjohnboy,
What about the missed tackles. Some of them bordered on fondling.

@realjohnboy,
I'm at 3-5 - truly reprehensible. Almost picked Oakland, so that one gnaws. Wouldn't have picked Seattle no matter what anyone said.

I was in that for a space. Now I'm 6-5. Things are looking up.

@LionTamerX,
I believe that there are 7 players in contention this week. All of them pick Green Bay. It will come down to Chicago @ Detroit on Monday.
