Programme list submitted for review and approval.

We are presenting a list of activities we wish to perform officially during the coming Car Festival in July. In anticipation of a crowd beyond 45 lakh this year– 15 on the day of Rathyatra, 8 lakh on Bahuda, and about 20 on Sunaves, we have included in the list advertisement programmes as well as some welfare activities aiming at catering for the needs of the pilgrims and tourists like protection from Heat/heat-protection.
1. To set up Non lid boards on either side of NH 203, Puri to Bhubaneswar and NH 203 A, Puri to Konark.
2. To set up at least 10 hoardings between the entrance and the heart of the city.
3. To distribute about 50,000 paper hats with the Logo of Dish TV on Rath yatra and Bahuda.
4. To use 10 water sprayers to spray cool water on the crowd. Each of these machine costs about 2500/- and can be re-used in other festivals held in Orissa.
5. To distribute about 25 T’ shirts and caps bearing Dish TV logo
