Not sure of that but we are striving to become the leader of a vast facist global system of multinational corporations.

I do, but we act with a cloud of righteous good intentions based on antique assumptions (anyone remember good vibrations?). I get pretty tired of us. On the other hand, we have many aspects I like/admire, which can be confounding.

Agreed; and the corporations own our government(s). The people elect them into office, but they sell themselves to the highest bidder once in office.
