Context:

Before a woman, man likes to unfold himself in men's way. Sometimes there must be androcentrism.

Androcentrism is a rather academic word. It refers to the practice, conscious or otherwise, of placing male human beings or the masculine point of view at the center of one's view of the world and its culture and history.

Mind you, I was in a London taxi the other day and the cabbie said "I had one o' them proponents of androcentrism in the back the other day. He said "Blokes are the best!'". "What did you say?" I asked. I said, "That's right, Dad!" he replied.

The piece quoted sounds like it was possibly by some German philosopher, certainly by a dickhead.
