The axis (spindle) turns faster and faster, soon it begins tossingt the dishes in the turntable?
Context:
The room is the turntable, I am the spindle, and pretty soon the spindle is going to start tossing its platters. I go away for a little bit.
@oristarA,
The spindle is just a cylinder shaped object. The old record player had a spindle in the middle to hold records at the center. When a record has finished playing another record is dropped down. The circular plate that holds the records and turns is the turntable.

One of my guesses is like what you said.
But then, what are the "platters?"
@oristarA,
The platters are the records. It is ust his imagination describing his mood.

I remember the old machine only took a platter a time. If it went mad, it would toss the only platter in use. NO platters.
@oristarA,
If you had a good machine, you could stack a few records/platters at a time.
The original post sounds like a fanciful description of someone getting the "spins" after getting drunk and then tossing their cookies.
@oristarA,
Those are very old. The later models had a kink in the spindle which held up the records. An arm would swing over to push each record out of the kink.
Thank you both.
Could you please find a pic about it and post it here?
@ehBeth,
Two platters or one? It's not very clear... Still puzzled.
@oristarA,
there is one playing - at least one on the spindle above
when I started university, I had one you put either 5 or 7 records on at a time
