Were there other animals on Mars too, or was it just mammals? And what about plants, did Mars have plants? And what happened to it, why did it dry out and die?

As John McEnroe would say, you cannot be serious. Not only are they blood vessels, they're MAMMAL blood vessels? What happened to the skeleton? And yous say they're in most meteors? Well that means that most of the space debris in the solar system originated, or at least resided temporarily, on Mars or Earth. That in itself is an astonishing thought.
It's amazing that someone could identify these with such certainty, give the fact that they are relatively inconspicuous. I also don't see how this suggests that the cosmos is teeming with ("past") life. Your example is limited to just one star system.
To be honest, I'm a bit skeptical.
