Three NASA scientists,Dr. David McKay, Dr. Richard Hoover, Dr. J.E. Brandenburg, respectively published peer-reviewed articles that confirmed there was life on Mars.
Dr. David McKay has published many articles on meteorite ALH84001.
He and his research team has never stepped back from their initial conclusion that there was past life on Mars:

Dr. Richard Hoover found alien microbes in meteorites Ivuna and Orgueil:

Meteorites Ivuna and Orgueil belong to the CI group of meteorites. Two days ago, Dr. J.E. Brandenburg found the CI group of meteorites originated from Mars:

So, the alien microbes found by Dr. Hoover actually originated from Mars. Past Martian microbial life has been verified by these three NASA scientists.
No, your three scientists have not verified anything--they have made claims, which are poorly explained in common journalism, and upon which you seize to allege support for your loony theories.
It's hilarious, too, given how often you lambaste NASA as liars and incompetents. Yet when it suits your puprose, NASA is a source of scientific authority.
@bewildered,
Three scientists with speculative opinions and weak evidence doesn't make much of a consensus. Also, these scientists are talking about possible bacteria-like organisms. You are claiming mammals. There's a HUGE difference between the two. Their claims are at least within the realm of possibility, yours are not even close.
@rosborne979,
Since when are David Mckay of NASA ( cheif of astrobiology at Johnson Space Center ) and Richard Hoover ( astrobiology group leader at Marshall Space Flight Center, who got a Gold medal of from SPIE,
http://www.nasa.gov/centers/marshall/news/news/releases/2009/09-059.html) purveyors of "speculative opinions and weak evidence" ? And finally, why don't you read the latest article before talking about it:

As for the recent "Pigasus award" for Hoover ; the awarding organization has now itself recieved the "Pope Urban VIII Inquisition award for Defense of Piety and Geocenterism"
Oh yeah, as though anyone would consider John Carter an unbiased observer about Mars . . .

I guess he figured we wouldn't understand the reference.
Cat's cradle . . . cool . . .
@bewildered,
Is the second of your sources the same Fox News that used to broadcast conspiracy stories calling the moon landing a hoax?
