About the elevator shoes.

Last year I went to lunch with co-worker I'd never met face to face before.

He was a short little **** (no offense to short men, but he was short, AND he was a ****) and at some point I had looked downwards and noticied his shoes. "Oh no!" I thought "He's actually wearing elevator shoes!" I had never seen anyone wearing them before, and they were soooooo obvious.

He had a Nepolean complex anyway. He was really rather pathetic.

I think it is because we are so mean - that JTT thinks we are significantly taller.

We are 5'2" because we don't need to be taller.

Checking in as a former 5'2"er. At 68 I'm 5' even and getting shorter. Damn!

Well you certainly can join - I believe that Chai's strict rules for entry include those less than 5'2" - as long as you are mean.

scrappy - reminds me of my daughter playing travel softball last summer - she gets up for her second at bat (she was the youngest to make the team) - and the coach on the other side said "Watch out for her, she's scrappy!"

After the game, I asked if she heard that - she said yes, but didn't know what it meant so she wasn't happy about it. I explained what it meant and after that she wore that scrappy title with pride!

I am 5' 2" well I was a few years ago, maybe I have shrunk. My mum always said those tall people have been booted up their bums all their lives, we shorter ones have been patted on our heads. So am happy at my height.
