Refer: to direct for information or anything required: He referred me to a specialist doctor.

Oristar, have you lost your dictionary?

In this country, in ordered to see a medical specialist, you need to be referred by your GP.

Too many dicts in my hand (or online) to check it out.

Cambridge, American Heritage, merriam webster... ALL seems too small and narrow to use, because the documents or articles I'd read and sometimes translate would spread their tentacles to every directions and to any possible professions. Dicts help, but statistically speaking, more confirmation, more insurance.

Don't worry. I of course have read it as "in order to"! Only with your reminding, I found that you really commited the awkward typo.
