why can't all political talk shows be like this
yesterday on Opie & Anthony comedian Jay Mohr chastised Romney for wasting time having an exploratory committee on wether or not to run for president, he advocates just going for it, he said, "have some ******* balls, Obama, suck my ******* mormon cock, i'm in, 2012 wu tang forever, i mean just ******* call your shot", "the second you lose in 2008*, you go **** that ****, in 4 years i'm coming back and ******* you up bitch, like in high school, like a bully beat down, i'll see you in 4 years bitch", and then folks can go all right, i guess we know he's in
i'd probably vote for a candidate like that
* and Mr. Mohr is aware that Romney didn't run against obama in '08, but he thinks any candidate even after losing the primary should declare again immediately and with some conviction
@djjd62,
That degree of
incivility is unnecessary and appalling.
@OmSigDAVID,
hmmm, that's my idea of political debate
of course i would allow out right lies in attack ads to be perfectly acceptable
now, as to the gist of the rant, i agree with Mr. Mohr, stop playing around if you're going to run, run, who cares what a committee has to say, you're running because you think your best, not because some room full of suits decides you should, if your not best you won't win, if you're afraid of wasting money on a losing campaign then you don't have what it takes to run, in other words, put up or shut up

The obscene language does not further debate.
If u believe that it
DOES, then will u please explain
HOW??
@OmSigDAVID,
livens it up, makes it more interesting, most political debate is just "blah blah blah, and furthermore i suggest blah blah blah"
but really the idea wasn't the language it was his lack of commitment re having a committee decide if he runs or not, do it or don't, be a man about it i say
@djjd62,
The references to sexual activity do not make it more interesting.
@OmSigDAVID,
no, they make it more funny

I think talking about dick sucking makes David uncomfortable.
He is a "straight" male over 50 that has never been married and maybe just a little insecure.
@parados,
oh no's, i'm a straight male, just under 50 who's never been married
i have too much respect for women to ruin ones life by marrying them
@djjd62,
Are you obsessed with sitting around your house lovingly stroking things that shoot?
@djjd62,
I would say he cant make the point without obscene language and is afraid it wont stand on its own.

I agree. It would be more civilized to pack high-powered firearms loaded with hollow point bullets.
@RABEL222,
and he probably will on terrestrial radio, but it's an uncensored satellite show, so have at it i say
@djjd62,
I dont think I would listen to him or his ilk. I think he is just a Rush wannabe.
@RABEL222,
they're not a political show, they're just dicks who like to make fun of folks, for the most part, Mohr was a guest on the show, he likes Romney for whatever reason, and was actually calling him out on being shy to just go ahead and declare his nomination

In order to understand Jay's opinion ( to figure out what it
IS ) first u need to
dig it out and isolate it from the non-relevant obscene language.
If he or anyone believes that use of obscene sexual references is valuable,
then he shoud put on a show devoted to that topic,
to ascertain whether it
IS or not.
When I read what he said, it was
not 1OO% as bad as cracking
the Japanese Code in the 194Os, but it was too close;
labor intensive.

I don 't like Romney (neither father, nor son) but this is a popular way of entering a political race.
He is not harming anyone; he is only getting ready to raise his Romney flag; a
supertrivial matter.
Jay shows his
not being well informed qua the American political process.
What his guy (or any other politician) did was not worth a yawn
let alone a flood of obscenity.
