There is a certain breath-taking apparent simplicity, yet sensuality and profundity, to it, yes, Gus...

What do you think the artist meant to convey?

Oh my god, Gus . . . look at you . . .

Did you take another one of those fast-food jobs? It's the uniform, ain't it--like the magpie, ya just can't resist the gaudy fun . . .

carrying Set's comments further;

there is a Canadian artist (from N.S. i think) who's paintings are basically rubbings over wire, and rope.

Gus- See the loop, the third from the bottom? I do believe that it needs to be moved a bit to the left. Otherwise, it is perfect! Very Happy

i think it is a perfect specimen to end the year. It shows alllll the events and things that can turn a straight year into a buncha twists and turns.

Beautiful. Give this man a prize.

I like the way the light bastes the rope gently in a soft glow.

Reminds you of your stomach the night after the night before, eh gus?

Setanta, the man with the discerning eye, was brilliant when he threw this out....

Very astute, Setanta (may I call you Set in future correspondence?)
The Holiday seasons left me financially embarrassed and I was forced to pick up a part time job. What better place to begin my search than the fast-food industry.

Jethro Tibbets, a friend of mine, owns the local "Space Burgers" franchise, and he not only gave me a job, but allowed me to use the Space Burger uniform as my avatar.

The job is exciting -- the bustling activity of the Space Burger cooks, waitresses, dishwashers (me-- Yippee!), customers, it all adds up to frenetic, cacophonous bliss.

I love it! I love the challenge. I love the people. But most of all..... I love my uniform.

And, as a footnote.... that rope picture I posted was taken in the back room of Space Burgers.

Well, back to the dishes. There's a bunch of hungry citizens and they deserve the cleanest silverware possible.

It is indeed, Ceili. And they have oil paintings on the wall! And red and white checkered tablecloths. It's a beautiful place, Ceili.

Why don't you stop in for a burger! My treat.

Well, I am kinda partial to a man in a uniform, not to be snide or anything but it does sort of look like a power ranger reject. However, who am I to judge Jethro Tibbits taste in appropriate fast food wear. I mean, he is the genius behind the fabulously sucessful franchise "Space Burger". I'm sure he has an immence business acumen and has studied his market.
The suit suits you, really it does. The helmet must be better than a hair net, I'm sure, as you seem to have a plethora, judging from your last well endowed photo.

You're a midget, Gus - and Ceili is tall. Let us cease to beat around the bush. Perhaps a little racking would help?
