Speaking of humanitarians, Renaldo, I don't hear you registering complaints about the millions that the USA has egregiously deprived of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

That's millions and millions of innocents and those lives weren't taken through processes that were the law of the land. They are the result of heinous war crimes, mass murder, rape, torture, ... .

Is your humanitarianism so short sighted that it only attends upon Americans?

If the government does not protect the powerless then it has no purpose... Democracies are defensive forms of social organization... What if the enemy is within??? Can the interests of the Patrician and the Plebian always be the same??? There is plenty of protection from the government, but few protections from other citizens who are endowed by the constitution with greater right via property ownership... The government had certain democratic aspects, but it did what it could to dampen the ability of the masses to effect sudden change... The democracy that was allowed to the people was limited and made daily less democratic by the actions of the parties who existence is not provided for at all in the constitution... Has any one ever asked the parties to prove their loyalty, or to prove they were acting for the benefit of all the people??? No one elects the parties, and yet they stand between the people and their government... It was for their benefit that the number of representatives was fixed... If it's in the womb, then it hasn't been born.

What about the mother's pursuit of happiness? What about the woman who knows that she can not support the child? What about the woman who recognizes there are too many humans on the planet? In the last two cases, having an abortion is acting responsibly.

There was just a celebration of the anniversary of the Freedom Rides, a series of events undertaken by liberals and leftists to guarantee basic rights and freedoms to African-Americans who were still forced to drink from dirty fountains, ride at the back of the bus and deprived of their right to vote through poll taxes.

The righties were still enforcing Jim Crow laws and the centrists were saying that it was still too soon for rights for Negroes.

Only a person that is brain dead would think a child in the womb has been born.

I hardly expect a brain dead person like you to find it funny but frankly your argument that an unborn fetus is already born is absurd and absurdity has it's humor.
