Liberals claim to follow the constitution on everything? Is that true? Nope. We all remember when the left ridiculed and mocked the reading of the Constitution when congress resumed this January.

The AMerican Right, who are lapdogs for the robber barons, distorts it for their own purposes. Just wish the righties weren't such sheep.

@plainoldme,
Why did the left ridicule the reading of the US Constitution to begin this congress?

* 1/3 cup butter
* 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1 teaspoon garlic powder
* 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
* 2 eggs
* 3 tablespoons water
* 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
* 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
* 3/4 cup dry bread crumbs
* 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
* 1/2 lemon, sliced
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions

1. Combine 1/3 cup butter, 1/2 teaspoon pepper and 1 teaspoon garlic powder. On a 6x6 inch piece of aluminum foil, spread mixture to about 2x3 inches. Place this mixture in the coldest section of your freezer and freeze until firm. This can be done ahead of time.
2. Remove all fat from the chicken breast. If using whole chicken breasts, cut them in half. Place each chicken breast half between 2 pieces of waxed paper and using a mallet, pound carefully to about 1/4 inch thickness or less.
3. When butter mixture is firm, remove from freezer and cut into 6 equal pieces. Place one piece of butter on each chicken breast. Fold in edges of chicken and then roll to encase the butter completely. Secure the chicken roll with small skewers or toothpicks.
4. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs with water until fluffy. In a separate bowl, mix together 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, dill weed and flour. Coat the chicken well with the seasoned flour. Dip the floured chicken in the egg mixture and then roll in the bread crumbs. Place coated chicken on a shallow tray and chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
5. In a medium size deep frying pan, heat vegetable oil to medium-high. Fry chicken for about 5 minutes then turn over and fry for 5 minutes longer or until the chicken is golden brown. To test for doneness, cut into one of the rolled chicken breasts to make sure it doesn't have a pink interior. Serve immediately, garnished with a sliced lemon twist and a sprinkling or parsley.

@maxdancona,
We already know you're in over your head. No need to prove it with a post like that.

because it's all carnies and rubes, all flash and no substance, you can choose to believe that or not, but it's true, the conservatives are good showman i give them that

you said it yourself, they ridiculed the reading, not the constitution itself, although it's nice to spin it that way, i'd puke if any party in Canada said they were going to read our constitution, especially a reading by a group who are so hostile and diametrically opposed to the current leader, how could it not look like partisan politics as usual, which is so far above the idea of the constitution

The Constitution is written so that it includes everybody. That means you can use it any way you like while claiming purity and sneering at the other guy's interpretation.

@djjd62,
So the left is guilty of being carnies also. They joined in.

@Renaldo Dubois,
Because it's comes from the same mentality as Christians who would read from the Bible while burning the natives at the stake.

All that was proved is that you lack a sense of humor.

@edgarblythe,
Too vague. I say the left gives the Constitution lip service. That would explain why the left hates the Tea Party who want to actually get back to our roots and get government out of things it doesn't belong in. When that happens a lot of lefties are going to be unemployed.

I have a great sense of humor. I didn't see any in that post. We simply disagree on what is humor.

Yeah, who the hell needs teachers, social workers, clinic doctors, firemen, policemen and people who might actually help you when you need some help. Money and guns - that's all that really matters. The Tea Party folks are the bitches of Corporate America.

@Renaldo Dubois,
The teas parties are fools who have little idea of the history of the US or the constitution.

Hamilton/Jefferson <Federalist/whig parties> divide on the rightful powers of the Federal government they seem to know nothings about.
