@djjd62,
No, because in real life, according to the Dys, Reyn isn't pronounced rain..

Oh, and more Reyns could be better (not to suck up).

Is reyn the missing link? Is that why there are no chimpanzees in Canada?

@edgarblythe,
Answering my own question: of course not. Missing links don't don't like cold weather.

luckily reyns mom didn't name him dave

Did I ever tell you that Mrs. McCave
Had twenty-three sons, and she named them all Dave?
Well, she did. And that wasn't a smart thing to do.
You see, when she wants one, and calls out "Yoo-Hoo!
Come into the house, Dave!" she doesn't get one.
All twenty-three Daves of hers come on the run!

This makes things quite difficult at the McCaves'
As you can imagine, with so many Daves.
And often she wishes that, when they were born,
She had named one of them Bodkin Van Horn.
And one of them Hoos-Foos. And one of them Snimm.
And one of them Hot-Shot. And one Sunny Jim.
And one of them Shadrack. And one of them Blinkey.
And one of them Stuffy. And one of them Stinkey.
Another one Putt-Putt. Another one Moon Face.
Another one Marvin O'Gravel Balloon Face.
And one of them Ziggy. And one Soggy Muff.
One Buffalo Bill. And one Biffalo Buff.
And one of them Sneepy. And one Weepy Weed.
And one Paris Garters. And one Harris Tweed.
And one of them Sir Michael Carmichael Zutt.
And one of them Oliver Boliver Butt.
And one of them Zanzibar Buck-Buck McFate . . . .
But she didn't do it. And now it's too late.

Who could ever forget the good old days when I was posting stuff like below?

I miss those days.

-----------------------

Polish woman jailed for 'haunting' owner of an Austrian castle
at 14:46 on January 15, 2005, EST.

INNSBRUCK, Austria (AP) - A Polish woman who harboured a grudge against her husband's employer has been sentenced to four months' imprisonment for terrorizing the boss by making ghostly sounds at his castle-like estate.

The 42-year-old woman, whose name was not released, was convicted Friday on nuisance charges after she allegedly spent weeks masquerading as a ghost and making mysterious noises, Austrian television reported.

Police captured the woman on videotape after the jittery owner, who employed the suspect's husband, begged authorities in the alpine province of South Tyrol to solve the mystery.

The haunted owner had complained of hearing footsteps in the hallways and slamming doors late at night at the estate near Austria's southern border with Italy.

It was unclear why the Polish woman had become angry.

@Reyn,
I miss those days too, Reyn!

I thought of you yesterday when my highschool newspaper class dug up this gem:

===================================================

"Hey Lady, is that a monkey in your bra?"

AMHERST, Va. -- A woman walked into a rural Virginia courthouse here on March 10 with a tiny monkey clad in a pink-and-white dress tucked into her bra. Donna Bruce brought the palm-sized marmoset to a hearing in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. She said the marmoset, which she named Cara and refers to as her "daughter," is seven weeks old, weighs 2.5 lbs., and requires constant attention. Bruce said she bought the animal on an online auction site and had its clothes specially made in West Virginia. When asked how the monkey managed to make it past county courthouse security, a deputy replied, "It wasn't armed." (Associated Press, nbcactionnews.com)

Hmm, it would seem a bit old hat to do it again.

I do contribute to edgar's thread from time to time, for those looking to re-live those days. Laughing

I dunno. Maybe - one day.

Oh, I've been here. Maybe not posting as much as I once did. Fewer threads seem to interest me these days. <shrugs>

That's impossible. Weird news is always changing, always fresh...it's never repetitive. That's what makes it so entertaining!
