What is the different between American English and British English in pronunciation?
Americans pronounce words right. Brits pronounce them strangely.
Look up "American English", "British English", and "Received Pronunciation" on Wikipedia

In fact, the situation is the opposite.
No, sorry, Contrex, I posted here first, that means my opinion has more validity than yours. That's the rules.

Oh, all right. I'll go in the garden and have a fag, since my wife does not like me doing it in the house.

You think that she'd be more worried about the neighbors seeing you two out there carrying on! Hasn't anyone ever called the police on you, C? Why does she tolerate that kind of behavior? Why doesn't she chuck you out of the house?
There are so many variations on the theme. Canadians have the best accent, kind of a mix of both.
Which American accent are you talking about? Which British? On our side (UK) there are about 20 regional accents to choose from, each with minor variations.
