Which decade do you miss more? The '80s or '90s?

I kind of miss a little of both-it depends on what I'm thinking about when I think of the '80s or '90s.

What about you?

@JGoldman10,
the mid 70's into the first few years of the 80's

i started high school in 76, good times

a word of advice, don't limit your threads to such a specific time line, lots of folks here who remember decades long before the 80's and 90's, if they post,you learn things about the past you might not have known

@djjd62,
I'm referring to those who grew up in the '80s and '90s.

@JGoldman10,
i can tell you that the demographics here don't skew that way, way more 50's, 60's and 70's here, at least among the regular posters

@djjd62,
No offense intended but that sounds rather AGEIST- What, people don't take 20-somethings and 30-somethings seriously?

@JGoldman10,
you read a lot into things that aren't there

this board just skews older, what can i say, i get the impression that most younger people have left message boards for the new social media, facebook and twitter especially

@djjd62,
I don't keep up with that crap. (Again no offense intended) I'm OLD SCHOOL.

I don't use them or desire to use them because I feel like Big Brother is watching.

@djjd62,
I tried discussing '80s and '90s things with Gen-Xers and Y-ers elsewhere and people ignored me or mocked me, or acted like they didn't know what I was talking about.

@JGoldman10,
for me i don't tend to link things to time period, just wether i like them or not

so i wouldn't say, oh the tv was better in the 80's, i would just talk about tv shows i liked

some of my favourite radio stuff comes from a time before i was born (1962), i love listening to radio dramas from the 40's and 50's

@djjd62,
A lot of good entertainment came from the '80s and '90s.

In terms of live-action and animated movies I'd say 80s for the most part.
In terms of video games '80s and 'early '90s.
In terms of TV cartoons '80s and early '90s.

All in all, I have to say I miss the nineties more than the eighties. I liked the music of the nineties SO much better than the music of the eighties. In fact, if I had to pick a decade of music I like the least - I'd have to say eighties music.

@aidan,
I would disagree with you there. I think '80s songs were more memorable.

@aidan,
If you going to talk about the quality of music I'd say the '90s were a little better.

What sucked the most about the '80s was the fact computers were primitive and there was no commercial internet access back then.
