How to speak English as native speakers?

I really appreciate those who can speak English as well as native speakers...I want to speak english fluently and be confident...because I major in English... Besides when I read a penetrating essay ,I found it hard to understand it...so my reading speed is slow
Can anybody give me some advice? Thank you!

Practice. The more you speak and read the more proficient you will become.
