I've seen him talk about his character on TBN- if there was something wrong with doing stuff like this The Lord would convict them.

If you are going to use humanoid animals you have to be careful. Out of respect for God and the things in the Bible you're not going to depict God, Jesus, the saints, the angels and the people in the Bible as funny animals. That's blasphemous.

Fluffy is really religious, she crosses herself at every opportunity. Who are we to say that Jesus din't die for pets as well as humans, and anyhow the conventional depiction of him is no more accurate than pointy ears and whiskers.

However, its protected under the clauses of free speech, assembly, and freedom of(and from) religion as stated in the First Amendment of the US COnstitution. Bible loses.

Many people aren't going to go for a funny animal Jesus. The Bible says He made MAN in His image.

I think the idea of a cat- or dog-faced Jesus is offensive. Or making Jesus any other type of humanoid animal.

I've seen a Looney Tunes parody of the Last Supper, which featured Bugs Bunny as Jesus, Daffy Duck as John and Elmer Fudd as Judas, among other characters and found it deplorable. A lot of other folks found that offensive.

Unfortunately, there's also about 50 other artist parodies of the Last Supper.
