Where Are The Posts

it's been happening with more frequency of late, deej.

I filed a report with the office...

i just posted a test post that was a reply all, and osso's and my two posts appeared on the next page

i then went back and deleted the test post

and now osso's and my two posts are gone again, for me anyway

Yours or Osso's posts won't show for me. (Mine's the last one)

I remember that this has happened for me before, but I always have blamed it on myself somehow not clicking on the reply button (a matter I have a lot of practice with, using the reply button).

Weird. I look at the New Posts page and see djjd's name listed as the last poster..
mine, who knows, somewhere in the ether. Where did you see my name, dj? Did you see it before you posted yours?

this used to happen on some of the large word game threads, but i don't remember it happening since the site redesign in '08...

That rings a bell. A growing number of months ago, maybe four, I suddenly couldn't see a lot of posts, as if many a2kers went on vacation all at once. On the new posts page, there would be hours between posts by anybody, in times that usually were busier. I could not see some threads I had started not long before, and would finally find them in My Topics. Sometimes I found threads in that list to the right bottom side of the New Posts page, that I hadn't found on New Posts. I whined to the mods, trying to explain myself/travails. Then one day it was all better. (Thanks, mods, or the hamster gods)

I thought maybe it was my browser so I switched, but nope. I know it's just a matter of time til it's fixed so I'll try to not be paranoid about killing the thread. It's my favorite.
