Seriously funny kids

Has anyone seen this show last Tuesday on Lifetime channel (another show is tonight at 9 PST) with Heidi Klum as host?
http://www.mylifetime.com/shows/seriously-funny-kids

It was hilarious and it reminded me of Art Linkletter's old show with kids.
Here is a small clip, although it doesn't show the funniest parts...

Sorry CJ, but it just shows a message here saying that due to Copyright, it can't show the clip in the UK. Shame, as it sounds funny.

This might be nothing like the one you are teasing me with, but have you ever seen "Outnumbered" ?

The two youngest kids are brilliant actors (I forecast a big future for both) and the scriptwriters have given them a basic framework to guide them, but they are allowed to ad lib as and when they think of something to add, and the results are very funny, and a lot more natural than the usual boring sitcoms, IMO.

Here's a taster :

OMG, that's hilarious, goaty. I am afraid though that this will never make it
to the U.S. I wish we would have more British comedy and shows here, instead they show old reruns from Hyacinth.
Maybe I'll find more on youtube of this show - it is funny indeed!
Thanks! Smile

Hyacinth? As in Bucket? Oh dear....

Mind you, the US does come out with some really excellent programmes now and then, the latest to hit the UK being Nurse Jackie and Southland.

I'll have a think about what's worth recommending from the UK, but here's two for now (you can easily find all the other episodes on youtube) but I warn you, don't go watching them in front of your (now teenage I suppose) daughter, as there's a fair bit of adult content.
When you get into them though, they're both very funny (IMO)

Excuse the adverts as the beginning.....channel 4 have to make their money somehow, I suppose.

1. Peep Show (not what you think it is!) Series 1 episode 1, so it spends a bit of time setting things up......be patient as it's worth it.....

2. I've posted this somewhere here before, but naturally I got the newbie cold shoulder, and fully deserved. It's by far the funniest thing I've watched in a long time. I've picked a particularly toe curling episode but there's many more....

Pete versus Life....

Hope you enjoy them!

@Old Goat,
No cold shoulder here - note my signature line.

I just finished the book from which the set of Brit shows, The Glittering Prizes, was made back in the early eighties, I think. Lot of one liners in there, not so much funny as clever/sardonic. (Not for children..)

Will check out the links, Calamity, and Goat.

@littlek,
Yes, Bookay Very Happy.... I still like it, even though I've seen it so many times.
Now I forgot what Onslow's wife is called.....oh, this is going to drive me nuts..

osso, probably only my link is going to work, as the UK ones are copyrights.

@ossobuco,
Oops, hard for me to hear well and otherwise dumbish. On the other hand, I was raised on Howdy Doody, speaking of dumb. The kids were the best part.

@Old Goat,
Hehe, yes these are funny, and I think they've shown them here too.
We also at one point got to see the "Yes, Minister" and "Are you being served", and for a while "Faulty Towers
They had only a few episodes of Dad's Army and I wished they had brought
more - they were hilarious

Love Dad's Army (the earlier one's anyway).

Have found some more outnumbered "tasters"....in the hope that they work over there....

You might just identify with this particular clip, seeing as where you live....

@Old Goat,
No, unfortunately they insist on copyrights too. One would think the internet overcomes such barriers, but apparently not in every genre.
