Collapsed lung recovered and sometimes still get pains in the chest is this normal.

i have had 4 collapsed lungs (right lung) stared when i was 24 in 07 Nov, Jan 08 and when i was 24 weeks pregnant in 09 and again a week later it is now 2011 and i still get pains in the chest every now and again that i have to sit down till i fell better is this normal to still get pains.

@MissSally,
I had a collapsed lung years ago and at least once a month I get a stabbing pain where the wound was. Ive been told that this is a resuilt of an adhesion at the emergency surgery site. Did you undergo surgery? or did the pnemo just clear up ?
