Knowledge is realizing that the street is one-way; wisdom is looking both directions anyway. So, if this is true;
A train station is where the train stops. A bus station is where the bus stops. On my desk, I have a work station...

TTH:

YOUJUSTME = JUST BETWEEN YOU AND ME Cool

Not so loud, the others may hear.

Stormy:

CRUSADERS
…..WARD = Onward Christian Soldiers Cool Cool

I thought that the most difficult to date.

"So, look both directions and get back to work"

TTH, that is really funny, I never knew anybody actually read that stuff. Laughing

Strangely you have the three words that makeup the answer but not in the right order.

If I was to borrow your car and return it with an empty gas tank; you might say the answer!

Do you make provocative statements to "foster dialogue" or needle others, I asked with a degree of incredulity. She retorted, "Do you find it alarming that others back away from you as you speak?"
So it's true; my aftershave is no babe magnet!

Stormy:

Center left = left of center Cool

TTH:

…DNIWER = rewind Cool

UKASES
9576/.28=34200
34200-9576=24624
24624 are ukases Cool

Not only correct; but far neater than mine. Razz

I hope the arrangements go well at this sad time.

You and I are to play a competitive game. We shall take it in turns to call out integers. The first person to call out "50" wins. The rules are as follows:

a. The player who starts must call out an integer between 1 and 10, inclusive;

b. A new number called out must exceed the most recent number called by at least one and by no more than 10.

Do you want to go first, and if so, what is your strategy Question

NUMBER GAME
Since 6 is the first perfect number, I think I'll start with that. Then I'll say 17. After that, I'll say the second perfect number: 28. I'll follow that with 39 and 50.

SIMILAR NUMBER GAME
First to say 100 wins. Must add a square (1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, or 81) to the previous total (which is zero to start - so the first person has to say a square). Do you go first or second? If first, what is your first number?

Variant: Same rules, but first person must start with any positive number less than 15. Can the first person win? If so, what number do you choose?

50, so I win Laughing Laughing
Oh, there are rules? You didn't state that prior to saying what someone has to do to win. Sorry, I just couldn't resist that one Laughing Laughing

I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back…So; right back at ya, and then some!

Nice!

Mark:

NUMBER GAME
Since 6 is the first perfect number, I think I'll start with that. Then I'll say 17. After that, I'll say the second perfect number: 28. I'll follow that with 39 and 50. Cool Cool

So each pair of numbers to go up in 11's regardless of what the opponent says, hence; you start on 6 which is 50 - 4x11.

WARNING: Don't play Mark for money.

SIMILAR NUMBER GAME

This looks good! I can beat myself no mater what I start with. Embarrassed

A little clarification if you please:

"…first person has to say a square"

"…first person must start with any positive number less than 15

Do you mean the first person restricted to: 1, 4, 9, to start?

TTH:

50, so I win.

Next time I will put the rules first! Laughing
