STICKS

(89-17) / (177-17) = (x-11) / (91-11)

47 Cool Cool Cool

A -Alice stick looks like 11 12 13........
B-bob's stick looks like 33 34 35.......
C-carla's stick looks like 0 2 4
6.........
D-Denny's stick looks like 17 19 21 23......

The depth of the pond:
reading on A is 91 so the real value = 91-11=80
reading on B is 113, the real value should be 113-33=80
reading on C is 160, the real value should be (160-0)=160 /2=80 each space is twice as long as A and B reading on D is 177, the real value should be (177-17)/2=160/2=80 each space is twice as long as A and B

Carla's height on D is 89 , so the real value for the height is

(89-17)/2= 36 so the reading on A should be 36+11=47

That guy is a frikkin genius! Razz

Etc touchingly wrote, "did you ever fall ultimately in love with someone ~and then there gone ~forever?"

Did I ever; well actually probably not, pass.

Epenthesis Inscribed in Roman, "et tu"

e^i*pi - 3 = .30259025 + 2.64355906 i TTH who writes from a hideout in Saskatchewan Canada, " I can't start a rumor on you. Someone might believe it and then I would feel bad"

That Toot's, is the whole point; they believe it, not to make you feel bad. For example: Epen never denied putting a lustre on Pearl.

Just leave the Hampster and the wide mouthed Bass outta the story. Embarrassed

hmm, lets see, you gave the speed already R=speed=55mi/hr so
D=.05 R2+R

problem....... .05+? .05-? .05/? .05x?
then if I pick one of those is it applied to (R2+R) or R2 and is R2 Rx2 or
was it suppose to be R^ instead of R2 Confused

I will just guess
D=.05(R^+R)
D= .05(55x55+55)
D=.05(3080)
D=154'

Strange but true; if you disregard the preamble to the question.

TTH:

SCCENERY = sea in scenery Cool

That is very clever, especially with the pic. Razz

I had: A change to the scenery.

Car problem;

You were there, or thereabouts. Better than the rest anyhow. Very Happy

R=55mi/hr
D=.05(55)2 +55=206.25 miles=206 feet
Compare it to the actual distance 240 ft, obviously the speed is falling into the legal speed limit.

Pearl wrote, "I only come here for the ambience and the salmon canapes."

Do those words remind you of someone? Rolling Eyes

TTH wrote, "Funny post you made"

Yeah! As funny as; why don't fridges have a temperature gage?

You set your fridge temp to "cold"; you'd think that would be cool enough to slow the growth of bacteria. But because built-in control dials don't tell you what the actual temperature is, you can't be sure you're keeping food between 35°F and 40°F, which is where it needs to be to do the job.

GOING (down) TO(two) DEFEAT(the feet)

How do you do it Doll?

…..Sorry, can you say that again….

"How's the garden club Try? That was my grandmother you knocked outta the way of touching one of your prized petunias...You'd better watch it bud!" Drunk

Grandmother you say; I thought she was your sister! Laughing Laughing

It was J.K. Rowling who said about Aunt Petunia... Like "There is more to her then meets the eye." That makes me wonder, does she posses magical powers?

Which reminds me of the time:

Two friends, Etc and TTH are walking down the street and pass a flower shop where Etc happens to sees her boyfriend buying flowers. She sighs and says, "Oh, no, my boyfriend is buying me flowers again".

TTH looks quizzically at her and says, "You don't like getting flowers?"

Etc says, "I love getting flowers, but he always has expectations after giving me flowers, and I just don't feel like spending the next three days on my back with my legs in the air."

TTH says, "Don't you have a vase?" Laughing

Etc wrote, "As far as dining goes most of you aren't even a glass of water."

That is even more profound than usual; good enough for a Sig. line.
I hope you are well. Amen

Grandmother you say; I thought she was your sister!

OK you got me there. I didn't know you remembered my poor prematurely aging sister. It's kinda sad she looks almost as old as you now. Don't worry though, she still wants to touch your petunias. :wink:
