And a few puzzles further back, 77 was shown to not possess this property. You were going to see if you had the proof that 77 is the largest such number.

THREE CARDS
There are C(52,3) ways to choose three cards. There are 4^3 ways to choose a king, a queen, and an ace.
Therefore, the probability is 0.017+.

(The best I have found is a site that states: "77 is the largest number that cannot be written as a sum of distinct numbers whose reciprocals sum to 1." There is no other mention)

I am confident that I have never asked this question during the last 24 hours.

A number of cats got together and decided to kill between them 999919 mice.

Every cat killed an equal number of mice.

Each cat killed more mice than there were cats.

How many cats do you think there were Question

[size=8]CATS
Since the only factors of 999919 are 991 and 1009, there must have been 991 cats.

"I am like so mad at you two for hanging round that Halle Berry tramp," said Shari in a tone that could cut steel. However, if you can help me with this last crossword clue I will give you a big surprise.

The square of a two digit number is divided by half the number. After 36 is added to the quotient, this sum is then divided by 2. The digits of the resulting number are the same as those in the original number, but they are in reverse order. The ten's place of the original number is equal to twice the difference between its digits.

What the heck is that number Question
