Panzade, the quote you just posted makes me wonder if I understand the meaning. I agree that acknowledging another's faith is necessary and that an individual's mind is created for his/her own thoughts. My question is: does one's faith determine one's thoughts? I tend to think this is true, so I might be bringing my own prejudice to the saying.

I found this quote, but don't have an attribution. It is on spot.
Quote:
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

Diane, to be honest, I've been debating Faith Vs Reason on the Lieberman thread and it was a reminder to be gentle with my opponents faith as I would want them to be with mine.

P, I have been watching you on that thread and you do me proud. I have almost posted to the thread many times but decided not to because you were doing such a fine job.

Learning from you as we speak...

Hey, Pan... do you need a hug? C'mere... (((Panzade))))

You are always a gentleman & one of my favorites on a2k. As FreeDuck said, you were handling yourself very well. I had to leave that thread... I should never even touch those... I don't know what I was thinking.

Hi Satt, Hi Olga (LTNH!)

Here's today's:
"Weapons are inauspicious instruments, not the tools of the enlightened. When there is no choice but to use them, it is best to be calm and free from greed, and not celebrate victory. Those who celebrate victory are bloodthirsty, and the bloodthirsty cannot have their way with the world." - Sun Tzu (c. 540-490 B.C.), The Art of War

Olga!!! LTNH (Long Time No Hear) Very Happy

Dyslexia -- Good quote, it reminds of that old Steve Goodman song, Somebody Else's Troubles -- the lyrics are sung here:
