I don't know half of you half as well as I should like and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

"I don't know half of you" sounds very clear.

as well as I should like = as good as I should like to know you?

I like less than half of you = I like 10% - 49% of you ?

as well as you deserve = ?

The sentence is deliberately intended to sound confusing, of course.

What you have written is correct.

This probably means "you should (as far as I can judge, from my limited knowledge of you) be liked more."

More or less starndard, for the English-speaking places they come from. Some are English, some Welsh, some Irish, some Scots, some Canadian--they come from all over, even a few Americans.
