'tis = it's? But how to read "'tis"?
'Twas = it was? How to read "'T" here?
Context:
Who steals my purse steals trash; 'tis something, nothing; 'Twas mine, 'tis his, and has been slave to thousands;
These are contractions which were once common in speech and writing, but which are no longer used. 'Tis is an abbreviation of "it is," and 'twas is an abbreviation of "it was."
Prounounce the first as "tiz." Pronounce the second as "twuz."
EDIT: To avoid confusion--in the word "two," the w is silent. In 'twas, it is pronounced. You'll almost never have occasion to use this, unless you are quoting something from centureis ago. Don't worry about it too much, English speakers don't go around using these contractions, unless they are attempting to be funny.
