It's almost a crap shoot posting new threads. Hang in there and some should get some traction. There may be some that get no replies. Welcome to the club, if that happens.

@peter jeffrey cobb,
I'll say that we know and like you are here, peter jeffrey cobb. But don't expect answers from every thread topic you start. This is the nature of the forum.

Add, instead, if you wish, to the threads you previously started. But, also, just wait.

@peter jeffrey cobb,
I am interested in your posts and in your point of view. I don't generally respond to posts unless I either disagree, or have something more to offer.

My son is learning about John Nash, who is a brilliant and celebrated mathematician who has schizophrenia. Have you heard of him?

@peter jeffrey cobb,
My sister has a paranoid delusional disorder caused by a trauma in her life. I know how hard it is for her every single day. I've worked with people in mental health and I saw how hard it was for them. I pray that life is not too difficult for you peter. I am glad to hear you are on medication. My sister will be on it for awhile and like most that need these types of drugs once they start feeling better believe they do not need the medicines anymore. It's got to be tough.

@Arella Mae,
Thank you it is a disabilitating disorter. It makes doing regular chores impossible at times. And other times you see (well at least belive you do lol) the world in complete clarity. Unfortaly you begin to question evreything you do once you have been diagnozed. But before that you dont know any better so the life you live is the only one you know. So until you are told other wise you suspect something is different. Like why am I always arguing a having discutions my concious. But again till someone tells you those voices arent suppose to be there you dont know any better. Am I making any sense?

@peter jeffrey cobb,

that means some people are voting your topics down so they don't have to see them in the list of new topics -- possibly because
many of them are similar in nature...

@peter jeffrey cobb,
I would like to ask you a question. I may pose it incorrectly so please bear with me. I know that schizophrenia has an onset at between 18-25 years of age (if I remember correctly). I have always wondered this but have felt maybe it was inappropriate to ask someone. If you don't want to answer it, please, do not hesitate to tell me. This is my question - do you remember what it was like before your schizophrenia? I am being awkward argh! I know you have memories of your life, that's not what I mean. I guess I'm trying to pin down if you can remember your thought process before schizophrenia? I'm sorry, I'm probably really confusing everyone. But if anyone has a clue as to what I'm trying to ask, let me know?
