@FredBquick,

If there is no God, as atheists say, everything is just the physical reality, and nothing else.

In the book of Sirach, R, H, Charles translation chapter 47 verse 17, it is written concerning Solomon, “By thy SONGS, PARABLES, DARK SPEECHES and SATIRES, thou didst cause astonishment to the peoples etc.”

In Ecclesiastes, Solomons book of SATIRES, Solomon gives us a bird’s eye view of the mind of an Atheist.

Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die. I envy those who are dead and gone; they are better off than those who are still alive. But better off than either, are those who have never been born etc.

A man may have a hundred children and live a long time, but no matter how long he lives, if he does not get his share of happiness and does not receive a descent burial, then I say that a baby born dead is better off.

Man and animal receive the same ultimate reward, total oblivion, from the dust they came and to the dust they shall return. A wise man is no better off than a fool, the reward for doing good is the same as that for doing evil, so don’t be too good or too wise, Why kill yourself?

We are all going to our final resting place, and although life is useless, the conclusion of the matter is, if you live a religious life you may at least experience some peace in the short span of consciousness that has been allocated to you in this useless life. So go ahead and eat, drink and be merry, drink your wine and be cheerful. It’s all right with God. Enjoy your life with the woman you love, as long as you live the useless life that God has given you in this world. Enjoy every useless day of it, because that is all that you’ll get for all your troubles.

Never again will you take part in anything that happens in the world, because there will be no action, no thought, no knowledge, no wisdom in the world of the dead to where the righteous, the wicked, the wise and the fools, animal and man, are all going. For the living know that they are going to die, but the dead know nothing.

Solomon wrote four books and Solomon’s songs are found in his book, ‘SONG OF SONGS,’ his parables are found in his book of ‘PROVERBS’, his dark speeches are in the ‘WISDOM OF SOLOMON’ and who can read the negative and even depressing words from the book of ‘Ecclesiastes without realizing that here is the ‘SATRICAL’ work of Solomon, aimed at those people of the godless religion, who believe in neither life after death, or the resurrection from the dead.

@The Anointed,
Although there are some atheists who believe that the mind of man, which is created from the information gathered through and by the senses of their bodies, such as sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing, etc, I am not aware of their belief as to what happens to the surviving mind=spirit.

@The Anointed,
Your anthropomorphism imagines the mind=spirit. Your volumes of answers stumbles over this one fact.

And what makes you think that I am treating animals, gods, and objects as if they are human in appearance?

Where? Did you not read the quote from the book of Romans, well then, let me repeat it for you, but perhaps it may be beyond your ability to comprehend.

God's anger is revealed from heaven against all the sin and evil of the people whose evil ways prevent the truth from being known. 19God punishes them, because what can be known about God is plain to them, for God himself made it plain. 20Ever since God created the world, his invisible qualities, both his eternal power and his divine nature, have been clearly seen; they are perceived in the creation itself. So those people have no excuse at all! 21They know God, but they do not give him the honour that belongs to him, nor do they thank him. Instead, their thoughts have become complete nonsense, and their empty minds are filled with darkness. 22They say they are wise, but they are fools; 23instead of worshipping the immortal God, they worship images made to look like mortal human beings, etc.

There is only the singularity old mate, He from who all things originated, by whom all things originated and for who all things originate.

The essential divine reality of the universe, the eternal spirit from which all being originates and to which all being must return at the close of each period of universal activity.

@The Anointed,
I've read quite a few of your posts. If I were not an atheist I might even be attracted to some of your perceptions. But anthropomorphism is the last word for it.

But you are an atheist, so tell me, what will happen to the mind=spirit that is you, once the physical body with its senses through which the information that was gathered in the creation and continued growth of the mind that is you has returned to the elements from which it was created?

@The Anointed,
A plant or animal is born, it blooms, it dies. The elements of its existence scatter to participate in what it encounters after that. No angels or hell. Just constant change.

@cmturner,
So this is the message that you give to the world.

For the living know that they are going to die, but the dead know nothing.

Hopeless, you poor bugger, but if that's what you believe then that is what you, the mind that is developing in that triad body, is what you the mind will receive. And nothingness, I suppose, is a type of rest, the only trouble, it is endless rest. The eternal soul which has been wiped clean, will be given a new body when the resurrection comes round again and it will develop a new mind from the senses of that body, be it plant or animal and hopefully that developing mind may one day climb the ladder and evolve into an intelligent life form.

Life and death is placed before you mate, and no one but you can make the choice.

@The Anointed,
For animals it is a symphony of life and death. When an animal eats, something dies, be it vegetable or another animal. Allowed a natural ending to human life means another eater gets eaten. The questioning ones have to carve out their own meaning to justify living. You can imagine transcending the symphony and escaping death. It ain't gonna happen.

I can tell with the constants independently just right for it the universe has life possible on some worlds in it, which would be nowhere possible otherwise, God really cares for life, all life that there is in the universe. It is right that I care for life too, my life and any other life. God will remember me. May you do likewise.

That which evolved into Mark Twain existed billions of years ago. As Robert Service once wrote, Just try to get the chemic view, a million, million lives made you, in lives a million you will be immortal down eternity, immortal on this earth to range with never death but ever change.

Of course, that life form billions of years ago, was not Mark Twain, but it was what Mark Twain would become: If it did not exist, then Mark Twain could not have existed.

We are all part of the one life, all things exist by him, through him, and for him, without him, nothing exists.

God is without any limit, and cares for all life that this universe is designed to have possible in it. This is how God can be trusted. Come to God to listen and learn from what God shows.

God is all life. Romans 1: 18-23; God's anger is revealed from heaven against all the sin and evil of the people whose evil ways prevent the truth from being known.

God punishes them, because what can be known about God is plain to them, for God himself made it plain.
Ever since God created the world, his invisible qualities, both his eternal power and his divine nature, have been clearly seen; they are perceived in the creation itself. So those people have no excuse at all!

They know God, but they do not give him the honour that belongs to him, nor do they thank him. Instead, their thoughts have become complete nonsense, and their empty minds are filled with darkness.
They say they are wise, but they are fools;
instead of worshipping the immortal God, they worship images made to look like mortal human beings etc.

All things were created through him, by him and for him. Without him, nothing exists.

If you believe that a universe of mindless matter has produced beings with intrinsic ends, [in Kantian terminology, an end-in-itself] --------- self- replication capabilities, and “coded chemistry”? Then you must accept that it is the eternal energy, which has neither beginning or end, that has become this apparent material universe and has developed a mind that is the compilation of all the information gathered by all the diverse life-forms that it [The Eternal Energy] has become, the collective consciousness of all that it is.
Every living thing within this apparent boundless cosmos, are merely information gatherers for the eternal energy which manifests itself as this living universe and is all that exists and is, ’The Great Thought’ the collective consciousness of all that exists. At any given point in time, you are no more than inches away from a spider, fly, ant, or any other of the many information gatherers of the eternal, who is all that exists.

Jeremiah 23: 23-24; “I am a God who is everywhere and not in one place only. No one can hide where I cannot see him. Do you not know that I am everywhere in heaven and on earth? He has eyes and ears throughout the entire universe

Stephen Fry said about God, 'The moment you banish him, your life becomes simpler, purer, cleaner, more worth living in'

Which is in exact opposition to my belief, 'The moment you accept him into your life, it becomes simpler, purer, cleaner and more worth living in."
