Only a monomania can survive
There could be, although i suggest that you may be the first person to have written that sentence. Absent any context, it seems nonsensical.

A big shot in computer industry has said something like this. I just don't know what exactly he said (he was the former CEO of Intel). So I came here to seek for the original word.
Well, once again, absent context, there's not much useful comment i can offer. However, perhaps he is saying that in the circumstances to which he refers, only a monomania, an exclusive focus on a single thing or idea, can survive those circumstances.
If you keep the article "a", it would be:
Only a monomaniac can survive.
What was he talking about? A person driven by a single wild idea?
