I peeled off the last curve of chocolate, exposing the white marshmallow mound and the heart of jam.

The person is eating a filled chocolate desert. Inside the chocolate is a center of marshmallow and fruit. He is peeling away the chocolate, and he has just peeled off the "last curve".

Engineer is right, this is just a picture of a similar desert, notice that it has very few straight lines.
