The reason he wants to know is probably why I want to know how to spell it. I'm a court reporter, and someone said it in court. I have to write it verbatim, so therefore I have to spell the silly sounding word.

The consensus seems to be that there is no wrong way to spell it. Do it your way, and you become an instant authority.
