Can't get "As much of it as we can get" well.
Please rewrite it in a different structure with same meaning.
Context:
Britain is the country that argues most passionately for globalisation and free trade.
Free trade is in our DNA.
And we want trade with China. As much of it as we can get.
That’s why I have with me on this visit one of the biggest and most high-powered delegations a British Prime Minister has ever led to China.
They want to trade with China, they want the Chinese to trade with them, and they want to trade everything they possibly can for as much money as they can get. they are saying, "Hey, let's make a deal."

So, it in "As much of it as we can get" refers to "trade (with China)"?

Yes. This just means "We want as much trade with China as we can get."
We want to increase our trade with China to the maximum.
