My house isn’t spotless, my thighs are heavy, my soul, like my face could use
some uplifting, but I have decided that I simply cannot keep all those resolutions I made on January 1st.
What does the word uplifting mean here?

@Nancy88,
You edited your title, and you changed your question. Since I can't keep up, I'm out of here.

@Nancy88,
Quote:
like my face could use some uplifting

Possible cosmetic surgery or a Botox treatment to get rid of some facial wrinkles or other noted facial flaws.
Quote:
my soul, like my face could use some uplifting

could mean the author of this sentiment is feeling depressed and needs something or someone to help bring him or her to a better mood or spirit.
