London's got a meter of snow--we've got a lousy two inches. It just ain't fair, i tell ya. (The mayor of London is whining about the snow--hey, clown, you live in Canada. WAKE UP!)
I want a meter of snow here, and i think that's just what life is supposed to be about in Canada.
@Setanta,
You got two inches? Lucky.
We got maybe one and still the kids were out with sleds. They found that cold wet grass is pretty slippery.
Patience, if you wait for it, it will come, undoubtably.
I had to laugh last night, on the news they said winter had come early??? to many parts of Canada with this storm. Really, I mean REALLY!! It's December and some of us have had it for a good long month already. Damn Eastern perspective.
But it's so frustrating ! ! ! They got a ton of snow in Buffalo, which is just about due south of here. It ain't fair. What is the little dog girl supposed to roll in. I totally get what Soz is sayin' . . .
I have been penetrated, thus far, by eighteen inches of snow. I am wobbly.
@Setanta,
I'm hoping for a lovely big snow dump next week. I have plans.
I feel like that dude from Chicago on a typical weekend. What was his name? Wandel! I really liked that guy. Is he still around?

I am still around, Gus. Give me a big hug!
Woo-hoo ! ! !
Is that fun, or what ? ! ? ! ?
So, umm, I hate to ask, but is that enough snow for you?
Southwest Ontario is cryin' . . . but we ain't got diddly here . . . colder'n a well digger's ass, but not much in the way of snow.
Over there between Sarnia and Windsor, folks was stranded all night at the side of the road, some of 'em in cars buried under the snow.
@Setanta,
Yeah, saw that on the news. Pretty scary! So, really, Toronto the good escaped the storm? Horseshoes, I tell ya..
@Setanta,
its crazy, an hour and half north west of here the army is rescuing folks and here it's all sunshine and clear sailing (it's damn cold though)
We're nice and white, got maybe 3-4 inches, not enough to do a lot with but it's sure pretty. And we have that arctic airmass, too, -10 windchill (farenheit!) this morning. Now all the way up to 25, windchill of 14.
It's -6C/22F here at the moment, we are supposed to get some more snow over the next few day, between 1 - 3 cm a day. Pulled a muscle in my arm shoveling yesterday. I'm not complaining though, can't imagine having to spend the night in a car hoping I don't freeze to death.
CBC just mentioned that they've dug out more than 200 travelers so far . . . no mention of Deej, but i guess he just stayed home . . .
@sozobe,
That's all i wanted . . . some of that nice white. You can have my share of the arctic air mass . . .
